RE:admitting defeat? New Flyer didn't even bring ...New Flyer look like they are showing off a new 60 foot electric bus. Speaking of electric busses its expensive to tool up for a fleet of electric busses as they require a different facility, barns, shops, etc. and also, I think it was BC Transit looked at the idea and learned that there wasn't enough power in the grid to charge them all if they had a fleet of them.

For trivia sake I found some Altoona results for different manufacturers and how busses stood up. Don't ask me what each category represents in terms of the type of failure but Altoona shows four classes numbered from one to and including four but I think class one is something catastrophic. Vicinity showed 7 class 3 failures, lowest of the group by far with fuel at 6.2 mpg. New Flyer Midi came in at 34 class three failures and 15 class four failures and fuel at 5.54 mpg.
