Medlab Clinicial has been granted a licence to import medicinal marijuana into Australia.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration is allowing the company to import a liquid cannabis blend, which will be used treat patients suffering intractable cancer pain.

Medlab will import the cannabis blend from licensed Canadian producer Aphria Inc.
