Current Sandra-Escobar (Boleras) Exploration ModelREX is now saying that a second La Pitarrilla "type" deposit is they are looking for.

I have posted this link before. Refer to P81.
We see that the surface expression (oxide silver) zones are about 1,500 M diameter but only outcrop intermittantly. We also see that the sufide zones, labelled "4" and "3" on the map, and the transitional zone, labelled "2" on the map, are about 500 M wide and about 400 M thick.
One interesting aspect of the map is the "Basal Conglomerate", Zone 4, a sedimentary layer just beneath the start of the volcanic sequence. Elsewhere, this has been named the "Manto-Rico" conglomerate. Conglomerates are typically poorly sorted and often permeable strata, likely to be excellent pathways for mineralizing fluids. They frequently form oil reservoirs in oil exploration. Note that the basal conglomerate at La Pitarrilla is extensive, covering the entire maps and even outcropping to the north.
So the question now becomes, "what exactly did they see in deep hole #62 that gave them the confidence to say that they are now looking at Sandra-Escobar as a potential La Pitarrilla analogue. Did thet drill through the volcanics into the sedimentary basement below? Did the encounter the Manto Rico Congolmerate in hole #62?
