Mayor's letter of approvalThe Village of TOM-ORO November 7,2016
RE: Rezoning Application with Mountain View Countv The Village of Cremona Council would like to offer their support for the expansion of the Aurora Cannabis facility located west of the Village of Cremona as well as their rezoning application to Direct Control.
The Village of Cremona Council feels that by approving the application Aurora Cannabis can proceed with the expansion of the plant which will increase staffing up to 120 positions. With the closing of the Shell Burnt Timber plant many localjobs were lost. Aurora is a jewelthat is located next to Cremona that will provide many permanent fulltime jobs in a modern agricultural and pharmaceutical plant.
This facility is recognized across Canada and North America as the highest rated, profitable facility producing at present medicinal marijuana and is traded on the TSXV as ACB. Aurora's location is on a designated industry road that was funded largely by ShellCanada when built and paved. The Village of Cremona Council fully supports Aurora Cannabis's application to Mountain View County for re-zoning.
Sincerely, e Tim Hagen Mayor

Yep. This is good news for shareholders. There were some NIMBY (not in my backyard) letters from early October, but the issues about water, taxes, potential noise, property value ETC, were all addressed by a consultant. After a month of considerations, the Mayor released the above article.
