My read is that this management has put up some excellent results in the last 18 months and is a much stronger group than you are willing to acknowledge.
The lower rung juniors have been punished by the recent gold price decline. I expect the group will make up lost ground and that ABI will sport a healthier price, when it recovers.
It may be that the input to earnings from SG did not reach it's full potential until after the 1st Quarter end and thus will not be reflected in the next earnings report. But thereafter gold production should reach to near 38/40,000 oz./year.
Not bad for a company which was producing near zero a couple of years ago.
Investors hate this sector just now. That won't last forever as the worldwide gush of paper money will eventually cause a reset. When is the big question.
