Fission Uranium Corp. is a Canada-based uranium company and the owner/developer of the high-grade, near-surface Triple R uranium deposit. The Company is the 100% owner of the Patterson Lake South uranium property. Its Patterson Lake South (PLS) project, which hosts the Triple R deposit, a large, high-grade and near-surface uranium deposit that occurs within a 3.18 kilometers (km) mineralized trend along the Patterson Lake Conductive Corridor. The property comprises over 17 contiguous claims totaling 31,039 hectares and is located geographically in the south-west margin of Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin. Additionally, the Company has the West Cluff property comprising three claims totaling approximately 11,148-hectares and the La Rocque property comprising two claims totaling over 959 hectares in the western Athabasca Basin region of northern Saskatchewan. The La Rocque property is prospective for high-grade uranium and is located five km south of Cameco’s La Rocque Uranium Zone.

RE:RE:Winter DrillingQuakes - the neat thing for this winters drill program is that they have the seismic info from the summer, so this winter they gonna find some elephant sized additional uranium deposits.

Plus may they do seismic on the land as well






quakes99 wrote: Hi Miner60.  There's been no word yet on when the winter program will start and yes, it is dependent on weather.  A couple of months ago a Mining Journal article said they thought that there could be an early start this year but there's been no talk of that from Fission so that seems unlikely.  Drilling conditions aren't usually suitable until the deep freeze sets in, and with U Spot still low there is little incentive to rush into drilling.  My personal expectation is that drilling will start after the holiday season is over and around the same time that a new Resource Estimate is released, which I think will be in early January.

NexGen has already announced their intention to begin their winter program in January, so likely we will see Fission do the same.

Like you, I am looking forward to another exciting drill program and new discoveries, especially out to the west towards the high-grade Uranium boulder field.
