Peregrine Diamonds updates Iqaluit council on its activities Peregrine Diamonds gave an update to Iqaluit city council last night on what its been up to lately. The company has been eying the Chidliak site since 2015. Its about 120 km away from Iqaluit. Tom Peregoodoff is the companys President. He says the company is working to determine if one of the 74 deposits they found is viable. Our plan for 2017 is really focussed on increasing the confidence of the diamond resource at CH-6. All of the activities that we plan on doing this year are activities that we have done in the past. Peregoodoff said the company will once again groom a 176-km trail from Iqaluit to the site. He said anybody is welcome to use it. And if there are any problems like ruts on the trail, to call the company and theyll smooth it out.
