Voya Asia Pacific High Dividend Equity Income Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is total return through a combination of current income, capital gains and capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in a portfolio of dividend yielding equity securities of Asia Pacific companies. The Fund will seek to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 80% of its managed assets in dividend producing equity securities of, or derivatives having economic characteristics similar to the equity securities of Asia Pacific Companies that are listed and traded principally on Asia Pacific exchanges. The Fund will invest in equity securities and will select securities through a bottom-up process that is based upon quantitative analysis. Voya Investments, LLC is an investment adviser of the Fund.

And according to President-Elect Trump there will more rate hikes because he has this idea of paying as much interest as possible on the trillion dollars he intends on spending on infrastructure as an attempt to jump start the inept US economy.  All the while cutting taxes.  Ooops, just how does all that work??  Man, the stranger things sound the more familiar they are.  Seems I've heard that entire story at least a hald dozen times in my adult lifetime and yet North America just gets further and further into debt.  LOL!  Well, get while the gett'n's good seems to be the motto of the day these days and why not, I mean who ever thought life would imitate reality TV.  Ha!

Haven't had the occasion to sample a 21 yr. old Aberlour but this cheaper Aberfeldy is going down nicely tonight.  Here's a toast Furball.  May your investments always point north.
