RE:ACCELERATED LEGALIZATION

RE:ACCELERATED LEGALIZATION I wouldn't say accelerated but I can foresee the groundwork for some legalization in Spring.  Any kind of movement, even on a small scale is positive news for this sector since it removes some of the uncertainty and risk.

Below, is an article from September I stumbled upon.  You can tell the task force is doing their due diligence.  Back then, the medical association suggested a phased in pilot project, which might not be a bad idea.

https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2016/09/12/go-slow-says-leader-of-task-force-on-legalization-of-pot-in-canada.html

One thing to take into account, when something (reports, negotiations, etc) take a long time, they are doing it because they are ironing out the details.  When it is unattractive, these things go quickly.

Legalization is definitely coming.  The fact it happened first in Colorado helps them recommend a more robust system.  Canada also seems open to the idea of legalization.
