RE:RE:RE:RE:EXPANSION OFFICIAL !!!!Yes, good point. Even though the building itself was considered as a major point for the rezoning discussion, I believe the details of the building must be analyzed. The town will be analyzing the blueprints and see if the building has been designed to specifications regarding building code, and boiler safety acts. If you believe the blueprints were designed by a reputable engineering firm approval is in the bag. On the off chance a hallway for example is to narrow and doesn't meet fire code, corrections can be made and blueprints can be easily revised. I just don't see building approval being nearly as big a hurdle as rezoning. The land can have a building on it and it was known the whole time that it would be a grow house, commercial land (owned by Aurora) is going to have a building on it soon, there is no other way about it.

1. The land has been rezoned to Direct Control which means that Council has the authority for permitting and that earthwork can begin. The risk however, is that they still might not get a Development Permit for the facility.
I strongly suspect that Booth/Team are hard at work on this as I write this, huge pressure to get the shovels in the ground before frost settles in.
