Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Shoppers Drugmart will not happen !

RE:Shoppers Drugmart will not happen ! The LCBO model only works in Ontario. They will use pharmacies for medical cause they already have the security and infrastructure in place for all other forms of prescriptions. Secondly outside of Ontario and maybe including Ontario (I doubt it though) they will use the Quebec model where you can buy beer and smokes at every convenient store you'll just need a license to sell and it will be like smokes it won't be allowed to be on display. We seen last week first hand with new vape and smoke regulations that this is how they plan to proceed.
