ttbone, this is a highly speculative stock. It is high doubtful that a buyer would want old off-patent generics that have relied on price increases to compensate for declilng volumes. We are not talking about a "pharma" company that has put R&D into its products - Concordia bought products using debt and overpaid for them and now their gig is over. It has nothing to do with regulations - their generics are being replaced by newer competition and they are under scrutiny in the UK as well (not following that story actively but it doesn't sound good when your company (AMCO) is called an illegal profiteer in the House of Commons last month).
