RE:RE:Lufthansa strike effect on q4

RE:RE:Lufthansa strike effect on q4The problem is much deeper then what you simply suggest. FRA/MUC connects AC passengers to all the world, and not just regional destinations. Simple solutions such as the trains, is not a feasible option for traffic going to Stockholm, Moscow, Mumbai, Athens, Tehran etc.... in turn, pax going to Canada from these destinations will face service interruption. This will prompt customers to use competiting airlines such as Klm.

They will pro actively re route pax thru alternate star alliance hubs, but it may not Be enough. Hoping that the impact to q4 results will be minimal?

As well, don't forget that AC has reduced service during the winter months to Europe. Therefore FRA/MUC become more important hubs due to the lack of direct service to Italy, Greece, Spain... for example.
