In seeking to track the performance of the S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Select Industry Index, the fund employs a sampling strategy. It generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index. The index represents the oil and gas exploration and production segment of the S&P Total Market Index (S&P TMI).

Share price momentum

While I was disappointed this did not pop a bit last week on the news, I believe there is still a decent chance we hit 20 cents prior to the drill results. Hopefully, the price stabilizes here at 15 cents and the momentum swings the other way. This is still a big buying opportunity for someone with a high risk tolerance and little to no stake in the game yet. All we need is one bigger buyer to dway things in a positive direction. If it ticks to 16, then 17 fear will abate and greed will kick in.
