Cameco Corporation is engaged in providing uranium fuel to generate clean, reliable baseload electricity around the globe. The Company also offers nuclear fuel processing services, refinery services and manufactures fuel assemblies and reactor components. Its segments include uranium, fuel services and Westinghouse. The uranium segment is involved in the exploration for, mining, milling, purchase and sale of uranium concentrate. The fuel services segment is involved in the refining, conversion and fabrication of uranium concentrate and the purchase and sale of conversion services. The Westinghouse segment is engaged in the nuclear services businesses. Its uranium projects include Millennium, Yeelirrie, and Kintyre. The Cree Extension-Millennium project is a Cameco-operated joint venture located in the southeastern portion of Canada's Athabasca Basin. The Yeelirrie deposit is located approximately 650-kilometer (Km) northeast of Perth and about 750 km south of its Kintyre project.

RE:RE:stockchaseYou are correct.  Took my short off a bit over 12 left my long hedge on and went long in the sector a 3/4 position.  Posted that on the FCU board a while back though I have bought no exploration companies. Not there yet.  We will see if it breaks 13.60 to 13.80.  

Still not completely buying a bull run yet as we're seeing the effects of the DOE end of year dump on spot price right now.  Also 8 delayed South African reactors to the 2030's from 2024 and 1/3 of Frances reactors have no permitting to extend their life past the several years.

But the fact that  KazAtomprom will freeze production and Cameco will shut down for 6 weeks is positive
