Lightwater Partners manipulation

Lightwater Partners manipulation It looks to me like in shorting EFL, Lightwater Partners are being manipulative. Just wondering if this is the Hass method of operation?; short peaks and kill any momentum, then when you have a sizable position smash it down.

EFL is not a terribly high volume stock, although liquid enough. Notice how a big short came in April 15 (link below if you have stockwatch) – right where the stock peaked before its big run. 1.3159M shares were shorted at the April peak. Around the May lows only 67.6k shares were short (as of the 15th of May report) – so about 1.25M shares were covered.

Short interest gradually increased throughout the year but really jumped in early July (covered a big chunk in July lows), then mid-late Sept to Oct 31st more shorting took place. When the stock dumped in the beggining of November it appears short sellers created the downward momentum.

Just saying it seems like if you have deep enough pockets you can push these shares around for your own benefit
