RE:ProbetabM
The thought must have crossed PRB Dave Palmer's mind, since the maps issued by PRB in both the NR and the Dec 2016 Corp Presentation show clear marking of the properties surrounding the the JV (Cadillac Break East) which contains Sleepy (~300,000 ozAu), the old Sigma 2 mine (ICG) and its own Lapaska property (has some 80,000 ozAu) which is about 2km west of Sigma 2.
Sigma 2 has been mined by Placer Dome in the 90's. They got out ~160,000 oz Au from a 100 x 600 m open pit.. Go to Google Earth (48 04 10N, 77 27 41 W) you can see the site with a lake of the same size (the old pit filled with water).
Dave and de Jong might have some chat already. ICG has no plan for it right now, as far as I know, but Dave might want to consolidate the land position. I would negotiate with ICG for a JV, or even for a 100% acquisition of the land with PRB shares, and some NSR?
If you are interested, AZX has on their website, under projects, some relevant info on the Sleepy Lake Zone. The local geology, including Sigma 2, is quite interesting (you can see the white oval lake/Sigma 2 pit at the extreme left margin of the map).
Happy hunting.
