In a nutshell, set your shares to sell at a ridiculously high price and set the date forward some time, a month, a couple months, whatever.  They can't "borrow" your shares in order to short as they have a pending order on them.  Plus with the high ask price they won't be able to sell, and if they do manage to sell at that price down the road, you've made a ton of money.
