First of all, Pfizer's fine is NOT peanuts. Its the largest fine on record.
Second, There is a good chance that guidance provided will not service the debt. If there wasn't a problem, something would have been communicated. It is exactly one month since Oberman took over the CEO job and one month since they pulled their financial forecast and guidance.
Third, Insiders not saying anything is not only the biggest worry - Insiders not buying IS A BIG TELL. I have read hear and other places that the CEO holds zero common shares in the company, 2 directors own zero shares and the other four hold very small amounts. The Chairman has liquidated 90A% of his stock one day after the November earnings call. My guess is that they know they will be filing for Chapter 11 and it sounds like you expect someone to hold your hand. At least I recognize when its cooked and learn from my mistakes.
