In the video interview Lindsay mentions that zinc hit $1.80 in 2005 and, I think, he said that it went from $0.8 to $1.80 in 9 months. That is the inflation adjusted equivalent of $2.50 today. That's what I gathered from his talk but you can watch it yourself.
