Spdr S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Etf V.XOP.W

Primary Symbol: XOP

The investment seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the total return performance of an index derived from the oil and gas exploration and production segment of a U. In seeking to track the performance of the S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Select Industry Index, the fund employs a sampling strategy. It generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index. The index represents the oil and gas exploration and production segment of the S&P Total Market Index (S&P TMI).

Excerpt from December 14 Cantor Fitzgerald Research

Excerpt from December 14 Cantor Fitzgerald ResearchYou can google it yourselves, I share for those to go verify it.  COPL rated currently as a BUY in this UK research on the oil and gas market.  I don't post this to convince anybody to buy or sell.  I post this for people, like me, who are a bit worried about the price and their position.  I hope that anybody else that finds other research references will also do so.  GLTA Below I cut and pasted the quick blurb on COPL:

Canadian Overseas Petroleum

We believe COPL’s shares offer investors exposure to considerable exploration upside with ongoing drilling activity in Liberia, underpinned by lower risk appraisal potential in Nigeria. The company has successfully built a material portfolio of assets in West Africa alongside an enviable list of partners, including Exxon Mobil and Shoreline Energy. With a carried two-well programme currently drilling, we believe the company’s share price represents a compelling entry point ahead of would could be a transformational year for the company.
