Buy on Rumor, Sell on NewsThis adage "Buy on Rumor, Sell on News" is Basic Investing 101.
Rumors are what propels the excitement of traders, speculators and everyday investors to take positions in Companies.
Rumors always happen between News Releases and are always present because there is a vacuum of knowledge as to the direction of future results.
One of the greatest disappointments in my current ownership of AFI is that because of continuous publication of "rumors" by You Know who" such as association with Driscolls, this past weekend MJ tobacco debacle etc. etc................ have filled the vacuum that would normally be filled with No News. There is ZERO day trading in this stock........there is no fluctuations in stock movement that is normal with MJ penny stocks. There is just unloading by pi$$ed off investors.
I still retain a position in this Company but I am hoping that the statement by You Know Who about refraining from his usage of twitter might be a start to better things happening.
I reiterate what I posted yesterday that I believe we would be at $.30 + share if the only information investors could rely on was SEDAR, News releases and info from IR.
