RE:RE:RE:Level 2 thread Created!!!

RE:RE:RE:Level 2 thread Created!!!Oh I know, all information helps, not trying to be a downer. And yeah I'm aware of the lot sizes being used in the bid/ask and total shares in level 2. I use RBC Direct Investing. But...just so people don't put too much faith in it...

Sometimes you'll see, for example, a bid lot size of 18, meaning 1800 shares on the bid. But in level 2 you'll only see 900 shares on the bid, meaning there's another 900 shares actually on the bid not showing up on level 2. So then when you look at level 2 data for other prices, you can't be too sure there aren't twice as many shares or more than what's showing. That's all

LSilver4 wrote: Some websites and quotes show it in different sizes, for example TMX money would show ACB at 100,000bids and other sources may show it as 100. I know there is sneaky insider ways around it but still serves a purpose to lots of people. to be used in conjuction with everything else you need to do when researching. just trying to help some people out dont be a downer!!!!
