RE:RE:RE:RE:IMF has accepted the government's plan for Resavica
I don't see any questions with respect to Pobrdje.
I have been saying it for almost a year now. Pobrdje must have been in a "resolved" state since the end of 2015, maybe even prior to that.
The Resavica Privatization committee has never mentioned Pobrdje because a plan must have been in place for Pobrdje for quite some time. The Deputy Mining Minister's speech and the Ibar Mines director's comment on the same day back in November confirm that it's "obvious" who will be mining the boron... Balkan Gold.
Resavica will always be considered a coal mining company with 9 smaller coal mining companies under its umbrella.
Nothing is ever said about Pobrdje for a reason. The Serbian media don't even think about Pobrdje when they report on Resavica because it's a coal mining company and the coal mines are the problem.
I didn't realize it until recently that nothing (i.e. no assets) under the Resavica umbrella could be extricated until the miners' lawsuits and seizure judgements were resolved.
That's what is happening now.
There is really nothing else for us to do except wait for Phase 1 of the plan to run its course. I expect and hope that Pobrdje is the first item resolved.
Cheers,
VB
