Some of you misunderstand me

Some of you misunderstand meThe constant tweeting and posting by shorts doesn't make me feel bad.  I could care less. What I do not understand is why they do it, because it detracts greatly from their credibility.  A short is a short.  That's how it is and that's how it will always be.  But this new phenomenon of so-called activist shorts is something different.  They do not just take a position.  They take the position and then do everything in their power to try to move the market in their favour.  That too is fine.  And no doubt their calls can be correct on occasion.  Certainly they have been in the past regarding Concordia, although it may be different going forward from this point.  But, even when they are correct, the constant bashing tells anyone who understands these things that the bashers do not believe 100% in their position.  Otherwise, they would be satisfied to simply sit back and wait for it to unfold.  They would not feel the need to incessantly bash, particularly with the sarcasm and crude joking that tends to characterize their missives.  Believe me, it comes from insecurity, not confidence.  Confident people do not do that.  You just need Psychology 101 to understand this, not a PhD thesis.  You see it in great literature all the time.  The confident hero is reserved and quiet, not a crank who feels the need to run off at the mouth incessantly.
