11) Stop washing your pallets unless your customer pays for it! None of your competitors do it. CHEP talks about washing their pallets, but they'll only do that if they're visibly dirty. PECO does the same. If every single pallet that comes from Wal-Mart (or another retailer) needs to be routed through a wash station, the extra handling and freight will kill your profits (again, see Q3 financials). So much unneeded infrastructure at a time when it cannot be afforded.
