RE:RE:RE:Mettrum purchase by CanopyWould I sell my Aphria in the same deal? No. but that is because I believe APH will be as good or better than Canopy one day. They have everything going for them and will make huge progress over the next 2 years before Rec.
Mettrum is not Aphria. Mettrum has been the industry laggard for as long as I can remember. They do not have a strong business plan. This Canopy deal is a lifeline for them. I would sell my shares at the current premium (which is still the same ratio of 0.7132) to become part of Canopy. Canopy has 100X the potential. Mettrum only hope is to be bought out.

Want to share your logic? If the entire industry has dropped by 30%, how low will Mettrum fall once the deal is off? ... $3 maybe?
Be happy to,
First of all the industry has not dropped by 30% since Nov 30 when when the deal was made but by approximately 10%. On Nov 30 Aphria was trading at 5.12 and Mettrum was trading at 5.98.
The deal with Canopy puts the value of a Mettrum at $6.60 (.71 Canopy shares)
So if Aphria is trading at 90% of Nov 30 price lets do the same for Mettrum
and say without the deal it would be trading at 5.38.
So what this means is that I am selling off my company for a premium of $1.22 .
So let me ask you this, would you sell all of your aphria shares for $5.61 which is a 22% premium on todays price.
Some might, i certainly would not.
Thats my logic.
