As a person who has read about and studied this company closely for many years I can not answer your question: "Am I being obtuse or naive here?" All I really know is that mgmt has given many, many assurances of time and budget that have plain been dead wrong so expecting lower cap-ex and lower op-ex on their (see 2 page risk statements) word is taken with a grain of salt. It is very rare when the PEA level estimates go lower in FS level studies unless the mine plan significantly changes which I don't believe is available in this case (high grade starter pit etc). However, the FS report will tell a lot. If in fact the FS study is robust at reasonable Sc prices I will be on this like white on rice. A lot of engineering is left to be done before any of us will really know. It's a speculation that deserves a small part of a sensible person's portfolio if they like the story. IMHO
