RE:RE:RE:RE:Closing of Resavica Mines

RE:RE:RE:RE:Closing of Resavica Mines
I did not say that Pobrdje has nothing to do with Ibar Mines.

I specifically said that talk of closing coal mines or closing Ibar Mines has nothing to do with Pobrdje.

The first thing that you need to do is stop thinking of Ibar Mines as one mine.

The second thing that you need to do is realize that when the media talks about Ibar Mines or Resavica, they have no idea that there is a tiny boron mine in the mix because all discussions are about COAL.

The boron mine's fate has been decided long ago and it is wholy separate from the coal mines. Coal miners do not want a boron mine and boron miners do not want a coal mine.

JP PEU Resavica is the merger of 9 mining companies whose primary function is to mine coal.

Each of the 9 mining companies has multiple deposits from which they primarily mine coal.

Ibar Mines just happens to have a tiny little boron mine among their list of coal mines.

Ibar Mines has multiple mines:
  1. Jarando - stone coal mine
  2. Tadenje - stone coal mine
  3. Pregorelica - stone coal mine
  4. Bajovac – lignite mine
  5. akovo – dolomite mine
  6. Pobrdje - boron mine

Ibar Mines has 6 separate and distinct mining licenses, one for each of the mines listed above.

What I have tried to point out repeatedly, and apparently with little success, is that all of the media reports about Resavica or Ibar Mines are referring to the coal mines and ONLY THE COAL MINES.

Ibar Mines has 5 coal mines and not all of them will be closing.

The Jarando and Tadenje ones will likely close.

Ibar Mines is likely to open up another coal mine in another area where it has not yet mined. This was discussed in a report I found from 2012 or 2014 but I didn't bother sharing it here because it's not relevant.

The Privatization Committee also discussed only the coal mines in their report. There is no mention of Poibrdje because there was no need to mention it.

The boron mine is NOT part of the discussion of coal mines whether it be Resavica or Ibar Mines.

I can't be any clearer than that. I hope this clears up the confusion.
