More TC ?s 4 smelter experts:Zinc @76,81&88 cents in Q1,2,3 Reports. NIF says that YTD EBITDA was $46 million under the fixed processing fee currently in place. Under market terms EBITDA would have been respectable YTD $35 million for BM, or a less encouraging $2 million for spot.

Factor in 1.15 zinc and BM scenario starts to look very good. Spot not so much as the spread between the two remains very wide.

Obvious questions are: What might be an expected mix of BM & spot sourced concentrate? And at the bottom of a typical zinc cycle how long do spot prices remain heavily discounted relative to BM?

Thanks - & Happy New Year!
