RE:RE:Do reverse stock splits help or hurt the small-cap investor?SL did a reverse split for a different reason.  They just started trading publicly (about 2-3 months in) and they were pennies away from hitting 0.  They had no choice but to do a reverse-split to avoid hitting 0 so soon.  VP on the other has been trading for a couple years now.  They have been trading lower and lower since the beginning.  The only reason they jumped up in price last year was the interest in marijuana stocks in general.  Otherwise they were nearing 0 at that time.  The consolidation is to avoid hovering the 0 mark.
