RE:I invest

RE:I investTHAT is a mighty fine rebuttal post right there James!

I never forgot that Lassonde interview. It is because of his words in THAT article - words of professional wisdom, his sage advice - that is why I came back to another diamond play  >>> this particular diamond play. A diamond in the rough? Bring it on baby!

PGD has all the right pieces - in spades. It just takes patience to now sit & watch these puzzle pieces come together. A lengthy chess match is not as exciting to watch as say, a Gold-Silver Junior Hockey Final. The glacial pace here is quite boring in comparison.

However, if some of those talented kids were smart enough to BUY a substantial number of PGD shares today (hey, they’re young & can afford to take some risks), they could then play hockey for pure pleasure the rest of their lives as their PGD investment pays their mortgage & more for years to come.

Sure there’s elevated risk here but with elevated risk comes the possibility of unbelievably mindboggling rewards. The potential for exponential upside here cannot & should not be overlooked.

Will No I will leave the history digging up to you as you brought up historic postings of mine on SI that far predate the 2012 article in the past few weeks.GRIN.

My point in the Lassonde interview is he compares how rare an economic diamond mine is to find and that like Diavik the market did not understand the effort it took to find that valuable asset,so when he figured out the market was not pricing Aber right it gave him a chance to buy in at a very undervalued price.

Also he points to the fact that it hard to invest in diamonds as the chances of finding an economic mine is 1000 times more than a gold mine.Nothing has proven more right as we see NAR and KDI not a mine.
In the case of KDI he points out a discount rate of zero for ore that will not get mined for 15yrs.My valuation on KDI is many multiples less that its current market cap( but not zero as MPV will swallow KDI to send a life boat for Desmonds investment as a matter of never leave a your mate behind in re-treat during a defeat in an exploration war.

As for history I pay very close attention to a smarter man than me like Lassonde. He backed a JR company with every dollar Franco Nevada had at the time in its treasury($2 million) and plucked it all on the table when that JR went looking for gold when all other mining experts were laughing at them and writing Lassonde his financial RIP speech.

That company was Barrick Gold and the place was Carlin

History is the finest teacher in the world.

James
