I have no inside track.

We have eliminated some (a small number of permutations)...still many out there.

Based on the last news release..the wording doesn't really sound like a Tiffany's or Chow Tai Fook will actually be involved. They seemed to focus on the words diamond producers and capital funds...neither would I apply to the jewellery sector.

As far as timeline goes....Tom might be distracted by the closing of the January 11th Rights offering with KZD.
The winter program for Chidliak is basically plug n play...set up and ready to go with the exception of funding and a small amendment on the NWB.

There may or may not be a stipulation to have everything in order, including approval of the amendment...before something gets signed.

Latest on the amendment? The DFO (fisheries) have already green lighted use of the new lake citing existing laws that PGD or anyone has to abide by anyway....so no need for extra language for PGD. The public comments are open right now and close on the 13th of January. There should not be any issues..it is just a formality really. I would hope the amendment gets approved shortly after that pretty quickly.
