Over half this 2.5 million Bid-demand is AT the spread
Ask seems to have growm since I psted earleir Spread in depth, but the spread not includes asks at .14, so, if anything, the Ask-defenses (while substantial) are not gaining an advantage
Reduction in Bid as a whole corresponds to volume of filled order into the close
Total volumes, while still only average of the slow pace since 23-Dec, did se a significant rush in larger lots at the close.
Bearish Signals:
The selling ion to the close was in vo,ume at .115. Much of is out of 83, and nmot in one huge order filled all at once. It it is a manipulation, it is an expensive one! More likely to be a real seller. But all thoise hungry mouths at the .115 bid are happy to be fed.
This signal is bearish because this battlefield is heating up again and the sellers have made the first move in strength, and the Bid is in defensive mode, absorbing the counterattack. With that large a bid, I can't see the .115 being breached, but as we have seen since the 22nd, there is no rush among buyers to bid up into the ask either.
Advantage: Bulls. When the movement up begins in strength, the selelrs may not have enough ammo.
But we may be seeign a new phase--waiting it out--u ntil the Q3 numbers confirm and blow away the ask, or disappoint and then the attack on the Sp will have some traction that has been firmly stimied since November.
Now as I anticipate good news 10:1 odds, this suits me. But it does suggest the market is ready to wait and see, Shares at .12 may still be on offer days before the FS is released.... but that is rare in the lead-up to expoected positigve numbersfor any company. This will heat up... any ideas when, Mas?
Oh yeah, dontl forget that the real close today was at .12! Several of us bought but the level 2 refused to show it.
