Presentation by Ian Stalker I don't think this video has been posted on this board, even though it's over a month old.
K92 Mining CEO Ian Stalker updates investors at the Mining Capital Conference It's very informative, and highly recommended for those interested in K92.
A few highlights:
- Steady state operations from Irumafimpa are expected to be established by the end of the 1st quarter, probably by the end of february. And at that stage, the company will be cash flow positive. This will deliver about 50 Koz/yr.
- Stage 2 is the Kora expansion. It will take about 9 months to reach Kora from Irumafimpa, starting just about now. From september until march 2018 they will do internal development at Kora. So in 2018 they'll start bringing gold and copper from Kora. And gradually over that year, they'll increase production to a total of 110 Koz/yr AuEq. 30% of revenues will be from copper.
- But, that is only on the known 43-101 compliant resource. And they didn't buy this just for the existing resource. They bought it because they thought that resource would grow. Stalker mentions a potential for 6 - 8 Moz at Kora, and further ramp up of production in the future to over 300 Koz/yr.
