Hudson's Bay Co, or HBC, is a Canadian retail business group. The company operates department stores throughout Canada, Belgium, Germany, and the United States under various banners. These banners include Saks Fifth Avenue, Hudson's Bay, Lord & Taylor, and Off 5th in North America and Galeria Kaufhof, Galeria Inno, and Sportarena in Europe. HBC also has investments in real estate joint ventures. In Canada, it has partnered with RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust in the RioCan-HBC joint venture.

RE:RE:scotia viewI agree frank that most of the analysts are full of it. I use their recommendations as a starting point, by no means do I follow their advice 90% of the time. What I do know is what has worked for myself in making profit when buying any company...and this usually involves going against all the financial advice given by these banksters. Here's a real life scenario for me: moved pension money into a mutual fund years ago, they sell it to you that they hope to make 5% a year. Well at year end they pay me my big dividend and guess what....it's 1.2%. Pathetic...disappointed.. I'm meeting tomorrow to move that money out and work it myself. My track record over the years has by far out performed the professionals that hold some of my money. Let the trading begin and profits to all.
