Definitely nothing wrong with taking a profit. Especially something as volatile and small cap like MGW. As a shareholder, I do find it aggravating that there never seems to be a shortage of sellers posting huge asks suddenly at all levels. Even when good news is announced, the momentum is always met with unwavering sellers who appear to want to cap it at certain levels and as other posters have alluded to, drift the share price down again.  I know small caps are largely news driven but I am just trying to figure out what these big players are aiming to achieve.  Is it to drive the share price lower, so as to accumulate more or are they trading on the smallish spreads to make a quick buck.  I guess my real question is who are they and why.

Anyone making it out to the Calgary meeting? If so, please post a brief summary and your impressions. Thanks and GLTA.

The shorts appeared in October and have been fading since early December (https://shortdata.ca/?sym=MGW.V).  Times have changed and we are in a new uptrend and headed for the 89 - 97 cent range.  Now is not the time to sell.
