RE:Ummm clearly mentioned

RE:Ummm clearly mentioned Thanks pivot...I was about to quote the same remark.  They will deploy this tool...if not, they could wind up finding themselves in the midst of a hostile take over.  The question is, what is the real estate actually worth?  I know this is a bit of a segue, but take a look at Honest Ed's in Toronto. They closed the store down in order to make way for more condominiums.  Downtown property is worth lots, perhaps not in its present use (retail space) but there are other venues.  HBC owns property in Manhattan, Toronto, Vancouver, etc.

As well, and I am surprised it has not been mentioned on this site...they are getting into the online business in a big way.

I am not pumping this stock.  It is deservedly in the dumpster right now.  But unlike Sears and other relative newcomers (in HBC case that is anyone who opened a store in the last 100 years) there is more to this company.  I hope we are at a bottom in the mid nines...where I bought, but I see the potential upside worth the risk of a further downturn.

Time will tell.  GLTA.  There always has to be two sides to a trade.  Some believe the value will go up, others down.  Half of us will be wrong.
