RE:RE:RE:RE:Screaming buy

RE:RE:RE:RE:Screaming buySome on this site have suggested that management should "step in" and do something.  I disagree.  I agree right now the daytraders are playing HBC like a cat plays with a mouse after they already killed it.  Management speaking out in reaction would indicate desperation.  In my view, and having been on a couple of BofDs (albeit much smaller companies) I expect they are in the process of consolidating their plans and considering their options.  I surmise the top of their list is when to spin off the real estate holdings into a REIT.  They are not going to announce any of this until things settle out.  But given who their CFO is, and the success other Canadian companies have experienced (I bought CTC shortly after they spun off their real estate...I bought at 70 and sold at 100 and thought I made a killing...it is still climbing).  The longs need to keep calm and carry on.  Though I don't see 15 anytime soon, I believe it a matter of weeks or perhaps a couple months before this gets above 12.  When they do get around to announcing how they are going to tackle the REIT, I expect back to the high teens.  Time will tell.  Half of us will be wrong.
