It became energy SELF SUFFICIENT under Obama over 5 years during which he strung Harper along by the gonads only to cut them off totally. That transition was also very carbon friendly for the U.S.A. as the switch was from much dirtier oil and coal thus providing huge carbon credits.
Last total I had on proposals for LNG projects on our west coast was something like 20-22 projects with $120,000,000,000(+) development costs. To date our PM and his party have managed to block or stall .with much red tape from environmentalists and aboriginal power positions over Trudeau and his Liberals, hoping for the company(Petronas)to back out.
Your finding of some good news,LNG and Propane, is more than welcome. It is noticeable that it does not come with a show of commitment from Ottawa.
