Be careful with this short. Tesla's longs(individuals at least) are spiritual in the beliefs. They have been compared to a cult, and after 8 months of close following of Tesla, I have come to two main conclusions. 1 I have no faith that they can be a volumne manufacturer of vehicles and that there present stock price does not represent any connection to the value of the company. 2. Tesla bulls do not care about any info questioning Tesla and the genius of Elon Musk. 

Taking a short position based upon the fundamentals of Tesla, balanced with fuuture opportunies and risks like I was looking to do, is fraught with risk as the cult members bid up the stock with each Elon tweet.
