The principal activities of the Company and its subsidiaries are production and distribution of structural steel products for building construction, and residential development projects for sale. RE:RE:RE:RE:Replacement Holding for a Great Sector?Yes. I have owned Tricon off and on for a couple years.
The company is not a conventional REIT however. It is active in Developing property in Canada as well. 
The stock does not behave similar to a conventional REIT as a result. it's volatility is unpredictable.
Has underperformed for years.
I own it but don't love it.
