RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:No Stock to BorrowMy understanding is that if you short you must have stock to borrow . Usually the brokerage finds a lender of stock. Now if the lender sells his stock or not willing to lend the stock, the short position must be covered . Go Pats is correct in that in a cash account if you tell your broker not to lend those shares are not available. I assume the nakid shorting on the US OTC side has stopped or is being watched closely.
Anyways hope Rumble has news to put more pressure on the shorts .
