RE:Alterra and Trump?
RE:Alterra and Trump?RDK241t,
I will stick with my previously posted predictions.
I am not concerned with Trump, I believe the "establishment" might be using him to get what they want...
Trump's power is not as great as is his illusion of power. The more individuals and companies he calls out, the greater the rally will be against him.
I am, as previously posted, disappointed with the messaging from the 2Q2016 and 3Q2016 calls and interviews, etc. that just what we are going place and we will be releasing news shortly. Well, its been 3-6+ months, please define shortly.
On valuation, in my opinion, the stock should be higher as the market prices in what it believes you will do in the future, not what you have done in the past...perhaps the market is telling us something...perhaps we should be listening? But this does make me ponder if the next time it reaches a target price that I should sell a portion. Only a year away from 2018 target dates,.
Alterra needs to speak up before they get to use their "quiet period" before earnings as an excuse...
The longer the stock stays below ~$6 CAD the new shareholder may be more inclined to sell. Selling, of course, could trigger a lower price. It would be great to get back to $6 for a ~20% gain from here as well as to remove some of this potential selling pressure.
Solution 1: I am being patient for my target date in 2018 and tolerant of my target price of ~8+ CAD
Solution 2: I am drafting a correspondence to Investor Relations to inquire the disconnect of the management tone vs. reality of press releases
Solution 3: I am debating both purchasing more shares if the price declines significantly (all else remaining the same) as well as setting sell triggers once the stock rebounds
