It is not just for accredited investors only. It is the same as it has been for all previous Private Placements.

I do agree that some did buy as much in the PP as they did on the open market because they did not want to tie up all of their liquid cash for 4 months (i.e. mandatory holding period).

For example, some do not want to sell any of their sheltered shares (i.e. RRSP and/or TFSA) too early and prefer to only sell their unsheltered shares should there be a sudden price surge in the stock that they want to take advantage of.

It's not all about buying into the PP for free warrants. Many have shares that are still locked in from the previous PP that can't be sold until March 2nd.
