RE:RE:RE:News....From the news release "...the decision to transition to an
owner-operated model that will include
procurement of a new underground mining fleet."
It means that Trevali is changing the way mining is done at Caribu by taking control of most of the aspects related to the mining fleet.
There are two operating models used in mining:

Owner managed model (also known as Contract mining): “Contractor mining refers to the situation where mine owners utilise the services of independent Companies who, under a contract performs work or supplies a service in connection with a mining activity on a mining site.”

Owner operated model (Also known as Owner mining): “Owner mining is the now widely accepted term for the situation where the mine owner directly controls and has responsibility for all mining and associated operational activities at the mine.”
