The fund invests in financial instruments that ProShare Advisors believes, in combination, should produce daily returns consistent with the funds investment objective. The index seeks to measure the performance of certain companies in the semiconductor sub-sector of the U.S. equity market. The fund is non-diversified.

The sudden jump of volume and price originate from the information issue by the company on January 27th, 

 

"Sigma Industries Inc. will soon proceed with new capital investments as part of a modernization program of its facilities and equipment." 

 

This statement indicate that the company and there lenders are confident in the future. Investing in your facilities and your production equipment is a strong commitment for the future as far as I know. More to come!

 

PS: Paperboy’s comment is also relevant because the small float amplify the volatility of the share, both ways...
