A Few Thoughts From The Road
A Few Thoughts From The RoadTyping from my phone and I know my post have some grammar mistakes from time to time...thank you for your grace on the front end... A few overall observations to share: 1. Shorts are closing out positions in the utility sector. Although, indirect, this main be beneficial to Alterra as investors search for income and growth opportunities in this sector. 2. Court cases dismissed against Alterra. Not sure what this means, but it might mean better rates and the removal of a risk and unknown liability. Overall, a known comfort and an overall positive. 3. Both longterm holders and posters (News tock and myself) to this board, who have both challenged the company, have openly admitted to investing in more shares at the sub $5 CAD level (between 3.75 and 3.85 US). I think we both sense something or see an opportunity we didn't want to pass by... 4. The dismissal of the lawsuit may be one of the catalysts needed to push AXY back towards $6...I would not be surprised if we saw several announcements in the next few weeks, but I am also not going to hold my breath. 5. Renewable energy will be needed as a source to fuel the future "manufacturing" activity in North America and Iceland...Alterra has power plants in the right places. Solution 1: Purchase at sub $5 CAD and sub $4 US. These may be longterm opportunities...at 3.75 US I believe (in my opinion) you can double in 12 to 14 months...although it may settle lower after that... Solution 2: The more shareholders contact Investor Relations and ask where are all the promised press releases and bringing assets in house the more we can hold management accountable for their own words and actions. We might just be early in the game, it feels like this could be an exciting year! Enough with the quiet anticipation, time to make some noise, Bold Forbes
