These banners include Saks Fifth Avenue, Hudson's Bay, Lord & Taylor, and Off 5th in North America and Galeria Kaufhof, Galeria Inno, and Sportarena in Europe. HBC also has investments in real estate joint ventures. In Canada, it has partnered with RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust in the RioCan-HBC joint venture.

RE:Simple takeover unlikely cos market capitalI agree...but like I said I don't have a good feeling about this. Hbc could off load all its real estate and maceys and get the deal done. Bankers and equity firms get their fees.....we lose big time. Not comfortable now for hbc...so I'm out.
