RE:RE:RE:RE:OK, we have a couple of $2 targetsManaging expectations is becoming crucial. That six weeks between Q4 and Q1 earnings can't come soon enough. In the meantime Trevali is becoming a 'show me' stock with every uptick surrendered by the market begrudgingly.
The action this week played topsy turvey with expectations...with their New Year the Chinese were out of action so naturally zinc did the unexpected and popped over $1.29 all week until today when the Chinese returned and zinc dipped to $1.25. I sure didn't see that one coming--apparently Chinese pmi reported today lower than expected.
Still, beneath the surface Trevali is biding time well. Volume is good. Management is being proactive i.e. this week's investment in equipment for Caribou. The analyst community has chipped in with coverage reflecting positive expectations.
Q4 earnings will reflect a zinc price of $1.14. Q1 earnings should be over $1.25. That should do it.
